Grupo Agroponiente starts its journey at Fruit Logística 2025 showing the world its B-Corp recognition.
First day with a large number of visitors to the stand, in Hall 8.2, focused on information on growth figures, outlining alliances, especially in watermelon, meetings with customers, planning strategies towards the end customer and visits from professionals and institutions.
For yet another year, and for the 17th consecutive year with its own stand, the Agroponiente Group has been present today at the Fruit Logística Fair in Berlin, with an open stand, the largest in the history of the company at this exhibition, located as usual in Hall 8.2, but with more space than in any previous edition.
The main objective of this presence at Messe Berlin is once again, as always, to meet with international customers and operators, as has already been seen on this first day, but this year complemented with the transfer to all types of visitors of the importance of obtaining the B-Corp recognition that the company achieved a few months ago and which places it, in this aspect, at the forefront of the sector, as further proof of its pioneering status in different aspects.
Thus, customers and visitors in general are being able to receive all the information about the importance of having been awarded with this international recognition, which is held by no more than 8,000 companies in Spain and which recognises merits in all areas and fields of a company.
In addition, the day was spent with multiple professional meetings on the Agroponiente Group stand and outside it, focusing on areas such as the confirmation of the growth figures that the company has achieved in the last two years and which are unique in the company’s history, including the increase in production farms, as well as various actions aimed at programming and alliances in the watermelon sector, with significant growth in Watermelon Fashion; as well as in various strategies with operators, including those aimed at the relationship with the end customer.
One of the aspects that most interested the professional clients who visited the Agroponiente Group stand on this first day was the strategic transformation of the last two years, aimed at ratifying the company as the reference company in the sector in Southern Europe; something that the figures are beginning to reflect in a notable way.
In addition, it has been an important morning of institutional visits, which have been attended by the company’s managers, in order to put on the table important issues for the sector in general and for the company in particular. Thus, Imanol Almudí has been able to talk with the mayors of Almería, María del Mar Vázquez; El Ejido, Francisco Góngora; and Níjar, José Francisco Garrido; as well as representatives of the Junta de Andalucía and the Diputuación Provincial.
Imanol Almudí himself made an initial assessment of the opening of the fair and assured that ‘as every year, our presence here is unequivocally profitable from all points of view. These are hours of great intensity in terms of meeting and exchanging analyses with the main commercial operators. Our trade fair strategy is already perfectly defined and we are taking advantage of every last second and the truth is that we have been able to perceive great interest in our realities, from the presentation of the B-Corp recognition to our growth figures, without forgetting our strategies for this season and those to come. It has really been a very positive first day for us’.
