Grupo Agroponiente Targets €400 Million Milestone After 6% Growth in Winter Campaign

Grupo Agroponiente moves closer to €400 million milestone in a new chapter of sustainable growth

Grupo Agroponiente has closed the 2024/2025 winter campaign with a 6% increase in turnover compared to the same period last year, surpassing €260 million between September and March.

These results reinforce the company’s positive momentum and place the Group on track to achieve a historic milestone: exceeding €400 million in turnover for the first time by the end of the financial year.

Growth driven by trust, commitment and sustainability

Grupo Agroponiente’s growth is especially significant as it has been achieved through organic and sustainable development, supported by the trust of thousands of farmers, strong relationships with national and international customers, and the daily commitment of the company’s team.

Grupo Agroponiente CEO Imanol Almudí stated:

“These results reflect a way of understanding growth based on proximity, trust and a job well done. We grow alongside our farmers, our customers and thanks to the effort of every person who is part of Agroponiente.”

He also highlighted:

“Surpassing €400 million would be a historic milestone for our company, but above all it would prove that it is possible to grow in a solid, sustainable and purpose-driven way.”

Strengthening leadership in the fruit and vegetable sector

During the first part of the season, Grupo Agroponiente maintained positive performance across its main business lines, strengthening its position in strategic markets while continuing to invest in sustainability, agri-food innovation and operational excellence.

The company continues to consolidate its position as one of the leading agri-food companies in the Spanish fruit and vegetable sector in Southern Europe, advancing a responsible long-term growth model.

Positive outlook for melon and watermelon season

Grupo Agroponiente is now preparing for the spring campaign, focused mainly on melon and watermelon production, with positive expectations thanks to the planning carried out in recent months and the expected performance in both production and market demand.

The company enters this new phase committed to generating value for farmers, customers and consumers while continuing to promote a more efficient, innovative and sustainable agricultural model.
