Grupo Agroponiente has appointed Jordi Portolés Peramo as International Commercial Coordinator, a strategic position aimed at strengthening the coordination, development, and overall management of the company’s international commercial operations.
With more than 25 years of experience in the global agro-industrial sector, Portolés brings extensive expertise in operations management, project development, and team leadership within large-scale production and commercial environments.
Throughout his career, he has held senior positions in leading companies such as Biobest, where he served as General Manager for Spain and Portugal, and NatureSweet, where he led complex production operations, contributing to improvements in efficiency, quality, and profitability.
In his new role at Agroponiente, he will be responsible for coordinating international commercial projects, optimizing key processes such as planning, production, logistics, and customer service, with the goal of strengthening the Group’s position as a strategic partner for European retail.
This appointment is part of Agroponiente’s strategy to further strengthen its professional structure and international management capabilities, driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.
