Grupo Agroponiente Strengthens Its Operational Network with a New Collection Center in Roquetas de Mar

Grupo Agroponiente has inaugurated a new collection center in Roquetas de Mar, maintaining its strategic location in the area while upgrading to a fully renovated infrastructure with increased capacity and improved operational efficiency.

This new facility, formerly owned by Agrupaejido, follows the recent acquisition of Primores—previously part of the La Unión group—and reinforces Agroponiente’s growth trajectory, which is driving the need for expanded facilities with enhanced technical and logistical capabilities.

“Our network of centers is not only growing in number, but also in capacity, allowing us to be closer than ever to farmers and to offer them agile, modern services adapted to their real needs,” stated the Group’s CEO, Imanol Almudí, during the inauguration event.

A Day of Closeness with Farmers

The event was attended by a significant number of local farmers, who had the opportunity to tour the new facilities, learn firsthand about the objectives of the project, and exchange views with Agroponiente’s management team.

Following the official presentation, a relaxed lunch provided a space for direct dialogue between farmers and company executives, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and proximity. At the end of the event, attendees received a personalized gift as a gesture of appreciation for their trust.

Expansion from the Origin

This new collection center responds to Grupo Agroponiente’s sustained growth dynamic and strengthens its ability to offer a robust and flexible logistics model. The initiative aligns with its status as a Certified B Corporation™, focused on generating positive impact for the environment, the agricultural community, and the sustainability of its activity.

A new facility. The same commitment. Greater capacity to continue growing alongside farmers.
