Agroponiente Recognized with the ‘Gusto del Sur’ Quality recognition for Its Commitment to Agri-Food Excellence

Grupo Agroponiente has received one of the four special mentions awarded by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Government of Andalusia, as part of the second anniversary celebration of the ‘Gusto del Sur’ quality seal, held at the Casino de la Exposición in Seville.

The recognition was collected by José Miguel Fresneda, institutional representative of Grupo Agroponiente, on behalf of the company’s CEO, Imanol Almudí. The award highlights Agroponiente’s trust in the ‘Gusto del Sur’ brand and its strong commitment to Andalusian agri-food excellence.

During the business event, the Regional Minister, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, emphasized the work of the entities affiliated with the seal, which now includes more than 200 companies and over 500 certified products. In this context, Agroponiente was recognized for its track record, its contribution to the development of the horticultural sector, and its commitment to certified product quality.

“This recognition is a source of pride for the entire Agroponiente team and an incentive to continue working with the goal of delivering fresh, healthy, and top-quality products to consumers, always under the highest standards of sustainability and responsibility,” said Imanol Almudí, CEO of Grupo Agroponiente.

Promoting Quality and International Projection

The ‘Gusto del Sur’ seal, endorsed by the European Commission, brings together Andalusian companies that meet strict requirements for quality and differentiation in food and beverages, enhancing their projection in both national and international markets.

For Agroponiente, being part of this brand reinforces its internationalization strategy and consolidates its commitment to a conscious, innovative, and sustainable agricultural model, aligned with the values of responsibility and excellence that define the group.
