Agroponiente Inaugurates Its New Primores Facilities in La Mojonera

Agroponiente has officially inaugurated its new Agroponiente Primores center, located on Escultores Street in La Mojonera, marking another milestone in its strategy of growth, sustainability, and closeness to farmers.

The event, led by the company’s CEO, Imanol Almudí, brought together numerous local farmers, members of the Agroponiente team, and institutional representatives. Among them were the Mayor of La Mojonera, José Miguel Hernández, the Councillor for Agriculture, Paqui Pardo, and the Councillor for Urban Planning, Rocío Vega, who highlighted the importance of this new project for the local economy and the Almería horticultural sector.


A Commitment to Sustainability and the Future

During his speech, Imanol Almudí emphasized that the new facilities reflect Agroponiente’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability:

“Today we are not just inaugurating a building, but a new chapter that positions Agroponiente at the forefront of the sector, always alongside our farmers and with a firm commitment to generating positive impact for society and the environment,” he stated.

The new center features modern infrastructure designed to optimize logistics and product quality, strengthening the company’s ability to serve both national and international clients under the highest standards.


Institutional Recognition

Mayor José Miguel Hernández underlined Agroponiente’s role as a key economic driver in the municipality:

“La Mojonera is proud to host this project, which not only generates employment and opportunities but also reinforces our municipality’s position as a hub of Almería’s agricultural sector.”

Councillor for Agriculture Paqui Pardo praised the company’s efforts to strengthen its relationship with local farmers, while Councillor for Urban Planning Rocío Vega highlighted the importance of the new facilities for the municipality’s urban and industrial development.

The event was attended by numerous farmers—key protagonists of the Agroponiente project—who had the opportunity to tour the new facilities and celebrate alongside the company’s team.
