It was the second edition, and it was not easy to surpass the revenue of the first. But Grupo Agroponiente and MAAVi Foundation achieved this last Friday in Vegaca\u00f1ada: the second edition of the \u2018Solidarity Auction\u2019exceeded all expectations, raising \u20ac11.850<\/u><\/strong>, obtaining more funds than the first and confirming that it is a solid and ongoing project in its collaborative effort.<\/p>\n The Solidarity Auction took place in the facilities of Vegaca\u00f1ada, in the room that hosts the daily fruit and vegetable auction. Jos\u00e9 Ortiz Bernal<\/u><\/strong>, former footballer and institutional and sponsorship manager of MAAVi Foundation, acted as master of ceremonies with the notable participation of the foundation\u2019s general manager, Carlos Arean, and the CEO of Grupo Agroponiente, Imanol Almud\u00ed. The event was conducted by Rafael C\u00e1ceres and Antonio Salazar, two professional auctioneers from the house, who brought their experience and encouraged the bidding of the attendees.<\/p>\n Participants could bid in person, from the room itself, and online through established channels with a representative system, for a series of sports and cultural items that belonged to great sports stars, singers, and a successful YouTuber.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Thus, items auctioned included, for example<\/u><\/strong>, a 23\/24 season jersey signed by FC Barcelona players, a ball signed by Jes\u00fas Navas, gloves from Marc Andr\u00e9 Ter Stegen, jerseys from Iker Muniain, I\u00f1aki and Nico Williams, the three Athletic Bilbao players, signed jerseys from Joselu (Real Madrid), \u00c1lex Baena (Villarreal), Gavi (FC Barcelona), William Jos\u00e9 (Real Betis), various materials from YouTuber Willyrex, a centenary scarf from Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid signed by Cholo Simeone, the first signed studio album from Camela, and a jersey signed by Jos\u00e9 Ortiz Bernal himself.<\/p>\n Therefore, the goal of obtaining funds for the promotion and financing of MAAVi Foundation’s charitable activities related to social intervention, education, professional development, health, and sports to enable the real inclusion of the minors<\/u><\/strong> they have been working with for years, with a significant presence in the province of Almer\u00eda, has been achieved and exceeded.<\/p>\n Jos\u00e9 Ortiz<\/u><\/strong>, master of ceremonies, expressed his satisfaction at the end of the auction: \u201cFor me, it has been a very special moment. After leaving football, I have participated in many presentations and public interventions, but this, with its charitable nature, is different.
