CHEP has been a trusted provider for Agroponiente for many years, and on this occasion, they invited our company to share our experiences in one of the round tables during their event.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the Director of Supply Chain and IT of Grupo Agroponiente, <strong>Jos\u00e9 Luis Terr\u00f3n, was a key speaker in one of the discussions<\/strong>. After the session, he remarked, \u201cIn our company, we are very clear that it is essential to continue developing and promoting innovation and digitization, both from our technical and R&amp;D departments and with other sector agents, in order to improve crop realities and respect for the environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event, held on May 9 in Almer\u00eda due to its importance in the horticultural sector, had over 70 attendees representing the main companies in the sector.<br \/>\nKey topics discussed included crucial challenges the horticultural industry must face, such as the need to establish strategies to combat food waste and the urgency to drive innovation and digitization throughout the supply chain to make operations more efficient and sustainable. Additionally, the role that CHEP can play alongside its clients in upcoming challenges was debated.<\/p>\n<p>Marco Salort, Commercial Director of CHEP Spain, emphasized, \u201cFor us, it is critical to understand the real needs of our clients in a volatile sector like fresh produce, to define priorities that allow us to drive innovation and digitization in the sector, and improve efficiency and collaboration among supply chain actors while reducing our environmental impact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the event, the participating companies received the CHEP Sustainability Certificate, recognizing their contributions to reducing emissions in the regions of Murcia and Andalusia, demonstrating the sector&#8217;s commitment<br \/>\nto environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>About CHEP<\/h4>\n<p>CHEP helps move more goods to more people and places than any other company on the planet.
