With Pitahaya, the tropical flavour is here to stay. This fruit is now produced at Agroponiente’s farms on the Mediterranean coast, from the last months of summer until December. We collect it at its optimum point of maturity to obtain a fruit full of personality, with all its nutritional properties and health benefits, which our bodies will appreciate.

Dragon fruit is known for its sweet and refreshing taste, as well as its unique aroma. Why is it so tasty? It has a high rate of Brix degrees, or in other words, the sugar levels are high, and it provides a unique sweet taste that satisfies our palate. If you still need convincing, let us ask you: what do you think is the environmental impact of these fruits? It’s low – Pitahayas don’t need much help from humans or too much water to grow.

3 benefits of pitahaya that you did not know

It detoxifies your body and is an excellent natural digestive. Dragon fruit is good for digestion – it gets rid of everything our body does not need due to its high potassium content.

Vitamin C and Omega 3 for your body. The tiny seeds in a pitahaya contain Omega 3 type fats, which reduce bad cholesterol and protect your retinas. And as if that wasn’t enough, its high content of Vitamin C helps prevent cell ageing.

The pitahaya is ideal for weight management. And that is thanks to its low caloric content. It also contains vegetable protein, is rich in fibre and vitamin B, and has high water content.
