The conical pepper is sweet and has an elongated conical shape and a small diameter. It’s widely used in Mediterranean cuisine because of its intense flavour. It can also be found in different colours, such as red, green, yellow, or orange.
These peppers can be eaten in a myriad of ways, but it’s ideal for salads. However, you can also roast or fry them or stuff them with meat or fish. They can also be used to prepare stir-fries, pistos, sauces … In addition to all this, at Agroponiente, we grow these peppers organically (classified as BIO), which guarantees natural resources have been managed and used sustainably during harvesting.
Nutritionally speaking, this is an excellent vegetable. It’s rich in vitamin A, highly recommended to improve eye health, and rich in vitamin C, which helps prevent colds. It is also low in calories, so it’s very suitable for weight loss diets and has analgesic properties; therefore, it helps fight pain.
