Cherry tomato

The smallest and most delightful of tomatoes
Cherry tomato is the name given due to its similarity in size and sweet flavour with cherries, and at Agroponiente we these are available throughout the year.
The diameter is between 1 and 3 cm. The flavour is less acidic and sweeter than traditional tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes come in multiple colours, giving colour and flavour to your meals, whether it’s served with salad, as a side dish or as garnish.
Cherry tomatoes are rich in vitamin A, B, C, iron, calcium, potassium and phosphorus, among other properties. And the thing is, size doesn’t make it less nutritious, it’s high in antioxidants like other varieties, and its consumption helps fight constipation, improves eye and skin health. So there are plenty of reasons to include these tomatoes in our diet. With all these properties, it is not surprising that, despite being the smallest tomato, it’s also the most popular variety in groceries and supermarkets.
